This network enclosure allows you to build a network attached storage (NAS) easily. Just install a 3.5" IDE/PATA hard drive to this enclosure and connect it to your home/office network by using the Cat5 cable and the RJ45 port. Files can be instantly shared and exchanged using either SMB or FTP Server built-in. For admins, the web interface offers useful tools such as user and share management, disk utility, plus other system and network tools to let you manage the LAN disk with ease.The enclosure also provides a USB 2.0 interface for quick and convenient accessing the drive from a single computer. (Important: drive need to be formatted to FAT32 using the management interface)
